I am not surprised by Faith being freaked out by Lorens behavior. Trans women are frequently killed by their boyfriends. I’m glad she’s protecting herself.

Magma and her Mother personify the word "Respecognize"

The way you described why Joe is with a girl 10 years younger than himself, that’s exactly what my last roommate did with his dating choices. He was early 30s, dating girls 19-24 to mess around for at least 10 years before needing to get serious about kids. Plus he had some Peter Pan syndrome 🫠

I am hoping the Gaily Dose has so many Mother Poodle stories...I love them so much! 😆

Super Nova

What show was poodle on? I need to see a clip of this.

Cynth

Thanks for sharing info about the Sawa Trivia game Poodle!

Jana Wilson

Season 1 of the white lotus was boring. I agree mattie!

Jujuy

Knew you'd pick up on the "ultimated " (I listened again too!)

Sam Lo

Yes! Yes! You said the thing, Mattie! It is TOTALLY possible to have developmental trauma and ADHD. BUT, the overlap with hyper vigilance from trauma is so strong! Only psychological testing can tell it apart.

Heather D.

Mattie what you said at the end… I burst out laughing, just because the C-PTSD and ADHD combination is fucking real! I am working on it at 42, but thankfully have more support and resources than Veah. My heart breaks for her, just seeing someone so incredibly vulnerable on the screen. I am glad she has spoken out about her trauma, and I commend her for standing up to what’s-his-name. That being said, I need Rory to walk out the hotel next door (like he never left) and make sure Veah gets home safely!!

Heather D.

Poodle, I have been listening to the podcast since the first year you all started—and the headless Santa is now my FAVORITE “Mother Poodle” story of all time 😳

Rizzy Ramone

I feel personally attacked by Matties parting shot 😂

I’m right with you, Sissy! I got diagnosed with ADHD last year at 37 and was surprised to also come away with a PTSD diagnosis. I don’t know why I was surprised because I’ve been working on childhood trauma in therapy for well over a decade, but I work in emergency services, so I guess my subjective view of what PTSD looks like was a bit skewed in the more extreme direction. The whole lack of safety thing was definitely a catalyst for most of my mental health struggles, not to mention chronic illness out the wazoo thanks to a perpetual overactive central nervous system. Sorry for the overshare lol

Kait Marie

I play volleyball and I will occasionally play with beginners and it does make you wince when their form is so bad! If they just fixed that then they would be so much better. I would have also had rage at Joe for being bad on tv

Not my govt name

Anyone else feel like Sunny was showing off for the cameras too?

Jamie Katherine

It’s funny because I feel like Mattie would really love Season 1 of White Lotus if he gave it a chance. I want to say Season 1 is Mattie vibes and Season 2 is VERY Poodle

Just watch season 2 for many many shots of shirtless Theo James 😍😍

Amy Diehl

In the beginning Joey really got on my nerves but for some reason I seem to be warming up to him. Maybe it's because Magma/magna and her mom were staring at him like they're going to set him on fire 😂

Ashley Elizabeth

I hope we never see TigerLilly or hear her vocal fry ever again. I have gotten no joy and very little entertainment from her story.

Karie Bear

Abducted in Plain Sight was insane!!! “I just need some relief”, and he does it?!?!?! I couldn’t believe it!!! 😱😳

Sadly I thought about that too. Loren feels not just creepy, but unsafe. I hope for her sake she writes him off for good.

Linda Coy

To rank Sunny as the worst person on this season is saying something, but you may be right. Veah has a lot of anxiety and vulnerability. And he may deny it, but he LOVED that she is everything a Muslim woman is not. I think he not only liked her tattoos, he found them sexy. He liked her sending those shower videos to him while they were apart, and loved that she had premarital sex with him. He ran off her security blanket Rory, and said everything would be okay, then let his dad insult everything about her, doubled down and blamed HER, and gave her an ultimatum to convert to his religion knowing she was not open to that. Monster!!!

Maggie Blake Bailey

I walked the red carpet for maybe happy ending! I can’t wait to hear what you think!!!!

Reyna

It was such a satisfying shot back when Veah told Sunny "Well, devout Muslims aren't supposed to have sex before marriage though so.....??" Again, Sunny just wanted to get his 🍆 wet.

Same with me and Veah. Her conversation with Sunny/the points she made was perhaps one of the more logical and emotionally mature moments this season.

AlliLance

What game show was Poodle on? I need to watch.
