Alicia missing the Keys is a terrible singer, but more than that, I hate that the award is named for an abusive misogynist who has never fully acknowledged the irreversible harm he's done to women like Dee Barnes. To this day, she struggles to find work because of his industry clout, and Dr. Dre could easily issue a public apology and break her off a few million. She still has chronic pain from his assault in 1991.
