When it comes to LIB locations, Minneapolis isn’t as conservative as Dallas, or even Charlotte (which I think of as a mix/middle of the road). Some of the cast members are conservative, but what they really are is reserved/reticent - that’s the midwestern trait, you don’t start yelling your business to the entire hair salon.

Suburban Minnesota mom here, I agree there are a lot of religious folks on this season of Love is Blind. Please don’t think we’re all like that. Ben especially is making us look bad. My daughter is almost ten and has decided she doesn’t believe in God. It’s gotten her some heat with her religious classmates and her teacher gave us an example at conferences. Her classmate was talking about how trans people are wrong because God made everybody in his vision. Ellary (my daughter) has a best friend who is a trans child. Ellary responded “I can see proof of the Big Bang & cave people, where’s God?” This got long winded, but there are many, many allies in Minnesota, I just want to make sure you guys know that. Love you both!

We played this game as kids - we called it Design Our Dream House and my best friend and I always wanted a slumber party room with cozy sleeping places everywhere, a movie theatre screen, a mini salon to do nails and hair, a fireplace to make smores, a full snack store, games, and probably a phone to prank call our crushes lol - it was the 80s. I think costumes belong there too! Or at least a rack of PJs to pick from!

I don’t know I’m not seeing this monster that everyone seems to want Ben to be As for nice guys I think I’d be totally fine with one. Being “dicked down” isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be And we’ll have to disagree about what’s right versus wrong. As a gay man, I do agree there are some things that are truly human rights dignity based. Other things are not so clear cut.

And maybe I’m jaded; but my guess was that it was production that suggested that he get the basketball and jerseys. My dad was a Southern Baptist minister and Ben’s grandma and mom are the norm in that crowd. People start praying for their kids’ spouse when they’re still in diapers. I think it was his family that said they need to be “equally yoked”, which means they are born again christian, preferably also Baptist. I deconstructed 15 years ago, but I still know how they think and behave.

I’ve never liked Ben and I don’t even think he’s all that cute. I find his facial hair so gross and I was yelling at the tv when I saw that he hasn’t bothered to shave it for the wedding! That is not sexy stubble! Also, it’s not just his convictions, or lack of them, that’s annoying, it’s his way of communicating. He tells Sara what he thinks she wants to hear like sure, I’ll consider another church, when you know he never will. He will promise her things and when she tries to follow up, he’ll say something like “oh I didn’t think you were serious” or “I don’t really want to but you seemed so excited that I didn’t want to hurt your feelings.” Ugh the worst (maybe this is based off personal experience…maybe not!)

Devin was confused about Virginia mentioning a "champagne room" because that's the name of the room at a strip club where you get 'private dances.' He was shocked that Reverend Virginia Buckets said it but then realized she just meant a room where you drink champagne 😂😂
