American with Persian ancestry here, and my husband is from the south! We eat pork chops and pork loin on the regular. The only pork my parents eat is pepperoni and bacon though, make it make sense 😂 There aren’t any Persian recipes with pork, so it isn’t necessarily always religious for people, it’s more of what they’re used to.

I had more fresh fruits and vegetables growing up in rural East TX than I’ve ever had living in the city. My grandparents had a farm and fruit orchard, and even after they died there are little pop up stands where farmers sell their crops, plus some great farmers’ markets. Everyone I know from back home cans and freezes what they grow, for use in the fall/winter. 🤷🏼‍♀️

The audacity of Amani wanting Matt & Any to inform her when they have sex alone, but I guarantee she doesn’t have to do the same to Matt if she were to be alone with Any. Then there is no world where Amani has to tell Any when she is with Matt alone. She just wants to be in control. I hate their entire storyline & wish we never met them.
