Disney hasn’t been good since The Lion King (OG) If you want high quality magical/ fantasy animation, check out all of Studio Ghibli work. They are still all hand drawn and story boarded. Would suggest starting with Spirited Away & Howls Moving Castle. They are all on Max. (English dub and in Japanese) Also, the studio head Hayo Miyazaki has several documentaries out. All the movies focus on women & girls not depending on boys/men and being strong, independent and smart.

We started watching Adolescence the other night. My husband couldn't take it, the boy looks a lot like our son and he was just like - I can't do this! also i have a bad but funny proposal story. i designed my ring so i knew it was coming. i came home from work and saw the ring box on the table. i was confused so walked past it. i came back and it was still there ! i showed my now husband like uhhh what’s this ?? and he felt so bad !!!! he just forgot it on the table. i told him im going take a shower and whatever happens after happens. when i got out the shower he had flowers and got down on one knee hehehe

Lilo & Stitch is one of my favorite movies. It’s one of the movies I play when I need a pick-me-up. I do not see the reason to make it a live action adaptation. The Disney Princess movies are primarily based on classic tales that go centuries backs. There’s always a way to adapt to modern times
