I think people forget that the stats on condom use only apply to correct use every time and lots of people don’t use condoms correctly when things get going. Meaning, the penis haver needs to slap it on BEFORE their dick gets anywhere near the vajeen, since pre-cum can still get someone pregnant. But the reality is it’s common for straights to engage in outercourse unprotected and only reach for the condoms when it’s time for PIV. All this to say — while failures do happen, given the advances in condom technology (lol!) it’s more likely that people who get pregnant while using condoms didn’t use them properly.
