One of my family members did ketamine therapy to overcome PTSD. He said a therapist talks to him for a 10 minutes about his goals/what he wanted to face while he was under. Then as he was slowly going under they verbally guided him towards that mental journey for just a couple minutes. Then once you are fully under he was left alone, but he was hooked up to a pulse/ox monitor that would beep if he was in medical danger.

I have chronic pain and take Ketamine daily orally & a nasal spray and also get infusions. Ketamine reroutes the messages to your brain so being relaxed is important hence the headphones.For me it’s training my brain to think I’m not in pain when I am. You can get a low dose infusion for anxiety, stress,depression and things like that which is usually 45 mins or so. For my condition I have to do 4 hours. I’m shocked it’s allowed as a Mormon🤷🏽‍♀️
