Armando's dad / mom dynamics it's pretty much how it is at least in Latin American culture, I can only imagine HOW HARD it is for Armando as a gay man to have these conversations with both of them and especially dad, his dad at first looked pretty intimidating and homophobic but he's come a long way and it has to do with how happy his son is now living his life and Kenny is a such a nice guy.
