Robbalee did have a stroke! One side of her face doesn’t have as much movement as the other but she did have a stroke, not too long before this season if I remember correctly

I think you’re right about Jorge… I think most of his prior relationships are probably with sex workers, or other women like Anfisa who he thinks he can control with money, because putting himself out there instead of leading with his money is too vulnerable. I also think he has a deep hatred of women and a fear that he will never be loved, probably helped along by growing up with his sisters and possibly partially from being a bigger guy in our appearance-obsessed world. He sets up these transactional relationships, and when they don’t *magically* stop caring about being paid/money/material things and start caring about him just because he’s him, he sees that as “proof” to somehow justify that hatred.

This is the episode where we start to kind of see where Nicole’s family is coming from…the girl is SO DUMB and thinks NOTHING ABOUT MAY. Robbalee and the family are pretty vicious but if Nicole was my daughter I’d be freaking out too.

My perspective on PCH. I think it’s scammy. In my experience, individuals who participate in this, are lower income people, who are hoping for that one break in their life. Unsolicited, junk stuff coming to them endlessly, but they remit payments in hopes of staying in their ‘sweepstakes’. All this said - I asked a forum of my professional-peers if they have ever known anyone to have won….and several people have. They moved soon after (obviously) so they don’t know what happened to them, but it was the minivan with the giant display of balloons, showing up on their doorstep, so….????? I still think it’s scammy, and preying on the lower income population (who can’t afford sending their money to PCH).

I performed “The Light in the Piazza” (song) in college! My voice teacher who picked it for me was amazing, although not for everyone. If you were overweight, she would tell you that you needed to lose weight or pick a different career.

Nicole actually lives on her own with Mae. They showed her apartment in one of the seasons. It's an old motel that was converted into apartments. It's basically one room and was just as messy as you would expect.
