Oh Steven at the piano was a HORROR SHOW. Then again, if my college boyfriend had done that for me when I was 20 (like Alina) who knows where I would be today, 18 years later? 😂 And Poodle… go ahead and read me (when it comes to music I am BASIC, not knowledgeable and talented like you both) because I totally agreed with you… if a guy played me Chopin WELL, I would probably melt. Debussy too, although it’s a bit on the nose, isn’t it. Like I said, I’m a basic bitch when it comes to music though—Clair de Lune will always make me FEEL lol. Maybe a little Rachmaninoff would do it as well! P.S. Your Tchaikovsky comments had me rolling!

Also, I must be too invested in this show this season… or Steven really is THAT BAD, because I find myself legitimately worrying for Alina’s emotional and physical safety with him… and what he’s like when the cameras AREN’T around.

When I was in HS my mom asked me if I could decorate the Christmas tree. Big mistake. Huge. She came home after being at work for 12 hours and took down EVERYTHING I PUT UP! She has since never asked me to decorate her tree and when she comes to my house she just looks at my poorly decorated tree and says “It’s cute. “

Florence hit when I lived on Emerald Isle, NC. So many stories, our water worked but we were told not to drink or bathe with it. Luckily, I was alone with my German Shepherd. Nobody getting upset each time I had to turn around at a downed tree or flooded street. It’s easy to get along without any big stressors. Victor comes off as an ungrateful douche!! Ellie needs to run!

I'm starting to wonder if the Ellie moving to the island was never part of the plan... The only times they really talk about it are confessional interviews (which we know happen later) and other stateside convos with her colleague and friend. I'm thinking the early Thanksgiving scene was completely staged, and that would explain why her house was NEVER packed up for moving. Maybe she made this up to promote her business, a la Ricky with Ximena/Melissa.
