San Diego sissy here! San Diego is definitely a hub of all sorts of groups and communities. I grew up in Chula Vista which is mostly Mexican and Filipino but if you go to somewhere like Santee it’s mostly white (same with La Jolla). El Cajon has a big refugee population (mostly East African and Middle Eastern communities). The city is really diverse and even though we definitely have our trash I always miss its Mexican food!
