I think Ben definitely should have ordered something, but what is appropriate? If you are waiting for someone to show up, do you eat whatever you've ordered? Or do you order something and just let it sit there because you don't want to be mid-chew when they walk in, or they walk in and see dirty plates (like you weren't waiting for them to start eating)?
