My thinking was that Mallory knows men like Jarrett were bad for her in the past - but we all are very likely to repeat these patterns because they are easy and familiar. I think Mallory had been drinking (as had they all) and fell back into behavior she knows hasn’t worked for her In the past. I still haven’t given up on Mal/Sal.

Ugh.. poor Iyanna..Jarrette is a scammer. I still am questioning his story about his “friend” stabbing him and he was in the ICU alone and he didn’t tell anyone about what happened until he was on national tv? So he didn’t report this to the police either? His attraction to Iyanna is she’s a safe choice but he’s not out of his bad boy phase which is why he was attracted to Mallory. Iyanna has been through a lot in her life and doesn’t deserve this. I also wonder since Mallory has dated women if she is looking for a reason not to be interested in Sal on purpose and maybe she really wants to be with a woman?

You CAN get beyond your type!!! I was Danielle at one point. Long story I'll spare everyone. But.. I met my husband thru a friend. I was so scared from previous relationships, I was fine having a phone only 'relationship' for months. I saw a pic of him, but nothing else. One pic. He was NOT my type. Even a little. I told my mom that I liked everything about him, but I was hung up on him not being my type. My mom said "What's your type done for you lately? Is your type working?" THAT made me stop and think. I decided I might be wrong about my type and to think of the way he made me FEEL and who he was as a person. When we met IRL, we had chemistry like crazy, thanks to building an actual relationship first. I was also not his type and we joke about it now. You CAN get beyond your type, but it takes acknowledging that your 'type' is a myth you tell yourself and it aint eye color. It CAN change.

I’m hoping it’s editing because that is so deeply nasty, but I can’t imagine production enjoyed her much. And I don’t like to stereotype BUT if the white lady Xtian denial of science boot fits then😬Makes ya wonder if she argued with production to wear a red hat with white letters, that’s all I’m sayin🤭

I'm trying to put myself in their shoes and because I think I'm most like Mallory I want to defend her a bit. She seems really slow to trust. It seems like she doesn't really trust herself either. I think I would have a hard time immediately putting my feelings aside for Jarrette, being all-in on Sal, and being 100% loyal to Sal when I still have questions about why this other relationship didn't work. All of that happened within a span of a few days. Jarrette was also pushing all her buttons about wondering if she had made a mistake. People's emotions don't move that fast. Yes, technically she's engaged, but it's a false setup. She's engaged on the show, but not in her heart. No one can be expected to be ride or die after 10 days. She doesn't really know Sal and she has to be true to herself.
