the 72oz at the Big Texan in Amarillo is real!! I've seen it live! I almost bought a taxidermy armadillo dressed as a gunslinger from their gift shop and I still think about it. The whole restaurant/store is just a huge Texas caricature.

I know a family that has three 20-something children. Two of the kids are boy-girl twins. The twins got engaged days apart and the third sibling got engaged a couple of weeks later. They’re having a TRIPLE WEDDING! I know my neighbor is going to be invited and I ask her husband to stay home so I can go as her plus one to witness this event. There will probably be funfetti cupcakes and balloons. Insert Poodle eye roll and Mother Poodle scoff here.
