Shake was a day one douche bag fuck boy and stayed that way consistently the whole way thru. Y’all have a blind spot here! (No pun intended) but I’m so shocked that you’re shocked by Shake. The signs were fully there thru out! #1 sign, he openly didn’t want to have sex w her. He genuinely thinks he is out of her league and she is not good enough for him.

I guessed 80% wrong, but that’s what made this season fun to me. I saw ups and downs w every couple. I’ve had such a fun day discussing the ending w friends, I don’t see/hear viewers revolting the way poodz is implying they are! This is such a fascinating show to discuss. Can’t wait for the reunion! It honestly seemed like a producer tipped Deeps off about the stuff Shake was saying about her. I’m so happy she said no I’d be heart broken for her having to watch him say she reminded him of his auntie.

Also, also, also: I messaged w y’all on Instagram about this, but two other couples got engaged and Netflix “didn’t have the resources” to film them, so I highlyyyy doubt they have someone w them filming at all times, that’s why we have to fill in the blanks and believe them when they tell us about a fight. It seems like they have set shooting hours and commitments.

Anyone who has been in an emotionally abusive relationship with a narcissist could see red flags from Shane very early on. His reaction of turning it back on Natalie when he called her Shaina was disturbing. His love bombing, need for constant validation and short fuse are all so typical. To me she was playful with him like he said stuff right back to her I saw that as banter. They did have very genuine conversations especially the last date we saw them on in which she was being serious and saying great things about him. When she simply questioned him about his drinking which I’m sure he was absolutely wasted he flipped out and said horrible abusive words, then of course the next day he’s begging for forgiveness, like all abusers do, but he would never change (not without therapy and an intervention) I’m so happy to she got out of that relationship before it was too late.

He was talking to his friends at the ceremony being a total douche and he was telling them how he was happy she said no and that they had her go first he said she was more into it than he was. I am positive about this because I rewound and watched it and I was like wow that is a horrible thing to say to people behind her back.

OK I have a friend who is a make up artist very high up in the industry and she was on set with someone who was on the crew for love is Blind… They said the show is so highly produced and edited and scripted… All of the couples behind the scenes are just fucking each other, and most of it is fake. They said it filmed right after season one back to back, and everybody got Covid when they were in Mexico. Like I thought, Shaina and Kyle‘s storyline was completely made up for the show, they never liked each other and would never have ended up choosing each other.

So curious to know how they decide which person says yes or no first! Did they pick the names out of the hat or interview them all and get their answers before picking the order? As for Jarette and Illyana (sp) - in Enneagram land, Jarette is a total 3 and if his identity is "husband" he will make it work. Their chemistry in the Mexico scenes was very sweet - they laughed a lot and seemed very comfortable with one another. And I think/hope that's who they are as a couple. Seemed that way at the nuptials. So cute that he got her the shoes she'd asked for (matching his) and had them delivered to her dressing room with a flower. And she looked like Halle Berry. Mallory who??

I have a different take than Mattie and Poodle in the notion of needing to know every aspect of the storyline. Maybe because I’ve seen some seasons of The Bachelor/Bachelorette; but there’s always an element of surprise in who people pick and then you realize deeper connections were made and not shown; which is why most of the time, we find out that the runners up looked like they were going to get the final rose because the editing made it seem like that.

(Adding on…hit “return” too fast). I’m OK with being kept in the dark a little and having a big reveal. For me, I liked the surprises. I didn’t need to see Deepti reveal her awareness in the episodes leading up to the finale. For me, it made her “don’t” speech that much more powerful and poignant. I also didn’t need to see Natalie and Shane’s last fight. Hearing her describe it was sufficient. And again, like with Deepti, her reveal was more powerful from not getting hints of whether she was going to say yes or no.

I saw it coming with Shake. LORD what a POS! He really showed his colours through out consistently and the wedding was just cherry on top of what he’s true personality is like. Instead of going after her he started slagging her down. And the reservation at Nobu comment! Bleeghh 🤮🤢

I’m with Mattie on beginning to feel something for Shake as the season progressed. He seemed to be maturing and recognizing what mattered in life. But…like the guys said….he returned to his true self. His quick pivot to getting back to working out right after Deepti said no was so devoid of basic human emotion. He really does need counseling because he seems to have no self awareness.

I was 100% right with every couple. I related so much to Natalie and Deep. My 10 yo daughter and I both cheered and arm pumped for those women. Love that they knew that they deserved more.

I never understood what Natalie saw in Shayne (and I never turned into a Shayne lover) so I was not surprised that she finally figured out. Someone else mentioned that after watching the Bachelor for years I've become used to "shocking" picks based on footage we never saw so was not really phased by the ending.

Danielles mom is a mess!!! She cracks me up!! You KNOW she told everyone at the reception that she picked that dress. I think Sal said no because alot of Mallory's family was not there and he feels that's really important. I walked myself down the aisle too & it was Awesome!!!
