Is it me or can you not hear Mattie? Just curious

The tourist visa being denied was probably because of “immigrant intent” - if he told them he wanted to come see his son being born that would have been a red flag for them. They want tourists to have a good reason to go home, basically, and would deny someone if they thought his ties to the US were too strong and he’d overstay his visa/“abuse the system.”

I really liked that Emily's parents said straight out that they were fine with her not being married even if they have a child. It's certainly healthier than Arianna trying to bend Sherlon into a husband mould because she was pregnant on Caribbean love (& failing miserably). The other thing is they are clearly supporting Emily and the baby and now she's bringing over some stranger for them to support. Poodle is right their allegiance should be to their daughter and grandchild!

Omg this uncle Andy story has me 🪦☠️💀🪦!! Thanks for giving me hysterical laughter at the start of my day 😂😂. I ❤️ y’all !

Ketchup and mustard are delicious on hotdogs and hamburgers! 😀

This episode was filled with Bilal triggers! Firstly, Shout out to the Bunkies who called it, he is the movie "Sleeping with the Enemy"!!! He's Just like the guy with the 19 yo wife from the Philippines. When his fake OCD was just controlling behavior!!! Member the scene when she had already picked out her wedding dress, her derailed her, then took her to the most expensive dress shop in Manhattan. With no intention of buying her anything. Just to take away her initial power and intent. He is a boogie hotep asshole. I hope he proves me wrong.

Loved the Jack Handey reference. He’s actually my uncle, and the only name I ever drop 🙂

If you are going to another country partying and having fun and having one night stands why can't you just have the sense to use birth control? Anyone can buy condoms. Plus Emily currently says she has birth control but hasn't taken it even though her baby daddy is showing up in a few days. 🤦‍♀️

Brittney Gonsalves

DEFINITELY thought that baby’s name was Covid 😂

Loved Jack Handey! I bought the little book back in the 90s

That was my thought, but there are also many countries from which it's hard to get a tourist visa at all. On this show we've seen people's family members get denied when trying to come to the US for their weddings.

At least Shaeeda is age-appropriate and seemingly financially independent. The power dynamic isn't as horribly out of whack as with Mark and Nikki (possibly the hardest to watch couple in 90-day history). Hopefully at 37 she'll be confident enough not to take any shit.

Big Neesh

I seriously thought the child's name was Covid

I know a lot of people that got married because they got pregnant and it typically ends poorly. From my experience coming from a traditional Mexican family and growing up in rural Oklahoma (Hi Matt!) there was a lot of shame pushed on single moms and pressure to marry or live together for the baby. A lot of my cousins felt like they had to make it work for their child and there was an undercurrent of “should of kept your legs closed.” So it was nice to see her parents point out that not getting married is valid. There’s no right or wrong choice for these things since it’s situation dependent. It just felt nice to see her parents having that take because growing up I never saw that.

Yes! I had to put the close captions on, you know that kid will be made fun of, kids can be cruel AF

I’m just here to say every time the name Miona is said, I just laugh because for us Spanish speaking peeps “miona” means a female who pees/pisses a lot 😆

Agreed re the marriage thing. As someone who was born & raised in Kansas, like Emily, I didn’t know what to expect from her parents. Some of the people I know from undergrad who are from their town fit every conservative stereotype people have about Kansans.

Anne-Marie Lyons

And she'll be SHOCKED to get pregnant again even though I'm sure her doctor explained it to her carefully. Does no one in the 90 day universe use contraception or is that a condition of going on the show?

Anne-Marie Lyons

It would have been the same growing up in Ireland up until the 80s having a baby "out of wedlock" would put a woman beyond the pale and if you got married you were trapped as divorce was not legal until the 90s (even now you have to be separated 4 years to get a divorce) Thankfully the stigma against single mothers is gone other than with the hyper religious.

Growing up, we had 1 1/2 bathrooms for my parents and 3 kids. Lol. It was tough and no clue how we did it.

Emily is this season’s Kalani. No one on 90 day learns from not using birth control…

Data Analyst here! Daggers in my math nerd heart, Mattie! You use algebra every day! That’s how beautiful it is, it’s everywhere!

⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️HOTEP ON 💯💯💯💯THANK YOU!!!🤣

Tomato sauce & mustard is a common combo here in Australia for hot dogs & burgers. There is a difference in the recipes for tomato sauce & ketchup, so can't speak to that, but the combo of tomato sauce & mustard is good!
