Omg I’m that snobby musical theater person too!!! We went to one of those fancy restaurants that has singers and I asked them to please sing, “I Feel You Joanna” and he didn’t know what I was talking about. I then asked for anything from Once on This Island, and again, crickets. Apparently, according to my sister, the way I shamed him with my tone of voice and look of disgust, was very rude. 🤦‍♀️

In 2008 a touring production of Sweeney Todd in which the actors also played the instruments came to Pittsburgh. The blocking was very strange because of this. My choir department did a field trip to one of the performances. Everyone who did not watch the Tim Burton film was so confused by intermission and those of us who saw the movie had to explain what was going on

Hey both! I’m a British listener based in the US (did my own 90 day style situation 9 years ago). A few comments on the episode, the tattoos are a terrible camel toe pun…insane that someone would do that but there you go! Also I think Kadie’s lack of seafood is a very British thing, as you said it’s not that common other than fish and chips. I bet she does eat fish and chips haha.
