Some sissies think it’s Histrionic? But I think more BPD. Curious is it both? It’s been a hot min for diagnosing for me. But I’m thinking abandonment is still the biggest issue for her. Would love to know your thoughts? -M

I know you get this & I still have to say it - we cant really say based just on what the show shows us. That aside, she has dysregulated behaviors, affect, self image , interpersonal relationships, and thoughts. BPD diagnosis captures the complexity of her varying presentations well. There is a TON of overlap with histrionic PD with her presentation for sure , though I see ( again , we dont see everything) her self confidence as painfully fragile & mood dependent, which crumbles when the wind blows. Histrionic symptoms usually “ feel” ( so not evidence based I know - a “ feeling”) more resolute & pervasive, whereas Natalie has this core belief of being unlovable & unworthy that comes out at the drop of a hat. A histrionic type ( in my opinion) “pulls that off” better, even when feeling pressured by perceived non approval. Hell, who knows, lump all of her under Cluster B personality types and get Josh back on screen, because otherwise she makes me want to bill her for my time!
