This was a dinner not a party. I thought they said it was dinner before the party. I think they didn't film the party and it was after the dinner. We know they would have thrown a "wedding" size party for his retirement

My mom stayed with me for a few days last year after my hysterectomy. When she left and I opened my dishwasher I could not believe how she had loaded it!!! I then understood why dishwasher loading is such a topic of marital fights. Also, Mattie is correct about retirement parties - they are very involved, gifts, cake, etc.
