I love your blind spot for Tiffany’s terrible parenting bc it forces me to try to see it from your perspective too. But nah. The sadness in Daniels’ eyes from being parentified at the age of 8 , was too sad. I don’t hate Tiffany , she’s had an interesting path but .. her actions are not aligned with those of “good” parenting however vaguely I can define it. Well she loves Daniel. So I suppose there’s that.

I’m happy for Debbie but this did seem to move super fast and her needing a place to live fast tracked everything. It does seem like a fun adventure and she can always move on if things don’t work out.

There is a woman who used to shop at the Stein Mart I worked at in college that I wish Natalie could meet. I’m pretty sure this woman was from Ukraine and the situation with her husband was fairly obvious. He was kind but older, not extremely good looking, and very shy (he had a stutter). Sometimes he came in alone and we helped him pick gifts. Sometimes they came in together which we loved. They weren’t too far apart in age so it wasn’t gross. They were both very nice and seemed happy. Natalie seems to think she’s going to find someone like this that is also young and hot. She needs to find a quiet shy old man to take her to the Stein Mart every week. He would also probably give her child. I can’t help wanting her to be happy haha.

I agree 100%. From what we have seen for Debbie, this relationship seems like the best thing that has happened to her. She seems clear-headed and rational for the first time. She is old enough to make a big decision and should allow herself to take a chance on the move.
