I thought I could watch these episodes. Turns out, I can’t. Zay, Zae, however you spell it, is still as obnoxious as before. Her therapist has not helped her at all and I’m thinking she can’t be helped. These people are clueless about life. Nancy and Raven are the only two that are tolerable.

I'm in recovery from an eating disorder which was active through most of my life, & is something that one actively recovers from forever, because it's a perspective shift (amongst other things). So comments like Cole's can be very triggering. BUT. Zanab weaponises her ED against people & uses it to excuse shitty & manipulative behaviour. There is no excuse for that. Part of recovery, regardless if it's an eating disorder or a drug addiction, is taking ownership & responsibility for it. Sometimes we do have to school people on it, because a lot of people are just unaware. It is also our responsibility to speak up if something is bothering us, if someone mispoke, & how that awareness can actually be helpful, & also for the person who is living that experience, healing. Zanab has shown no interest in that. She wants to punish & be a martyr.

That was my original plan. After listening to about 20 mins of this episode I decided to watch them. That only lasted about 1.25 episodes. I couldn’t finish the second and last one. I should have just listened to this and I would have been just fine.

I was expecting more from the Alexa party. When I saw her dad, stepmom and brothers there, I thought they were going to make a baby announcement; especially since her stepmom had been asking about it in a previous scene. I was also expecting more drama between cast members but….snooze, nothing. This could’ve been one episode.

Why did they dress up so much for brunch? Every other woman in that place was in loungewear and Nancy shows up with feathers and sequence. They all have tits out and shellacked makeup. Colleen is in full pleather. And it had to be August because Alexa’s bday is the 28th.

Ah, I suppose we could allow for the possibility to be that there was a pregnancy loss somewhere in the timeline, and his gift was like a 'let's try again' or something. In which case, I'd feel bad saying it was for a catchy storyline attempt, but personally, I'd lean toward my first comment as my official guess.

That wasn't a real birthday party THE LIGHTS WERE ON THE WHOLE TIME. 😠 I was thinking production would do their Love is Blind 'cocktail hour party' and after a few hours of filming that, they'd spill out of that little side room into a real room with music, dancing, correct lighting (😑), but it was just that one fake, lame bright-as-day party. Side thought- their makeup would've looked much better in proper evening party lighting.
