Every season it's all people who are conventionally attractive - that show literally proves the fact that they don't actually care about "love being blind" The last season was so boring and just people who wanna be influencers. HOLY CRAP - Re: Sunday in the Park with George. So, I've never seen this musical, but because of other stage shows and vocal lessons, I am familiar with and had heard of it and had a vague understanding of the plot and characters. And I knew that it was inspired on Seurat's painting Sunday in the Park. SO, why the hell did it just hit me now that the character's name is DOT!?!? And Seurat's manner of painting was in the style of pointillism, in which the picture is made up of small, tiny DOTS?!? Mind blown!!!! I feel a bit foolish but it never occurred to me until I heard you guys discussing it LOL

I really liked the matchmaker all along but agree that she got defensive with Darcey and became unnecessarily hurtful instead of helpful. It’s OK that Cisero may have felt that he and Darcey weren’t compatible; but not OK to stand her up for the double date.

Oh man the end of this episode was hard to watch. Darcey got super defensive and shut down and canceled the matchmaker rather than trying to look at herself. I love Darcey but the matchmaker was right about eeeeeverything. And then she had to ruin it by getting all defensive and petty at the end with that "I can see why Darcey is still single" shit. I was rooting for you, Michelle! We were all rooting for you!

Regardless of whether the matchmaker had valid points, it’s not her job to belittle a client. It’s not her job to literally point the finger at her client and say, “you’re the problem.” And it’s definitely not her job to tell a client you need therapy which to me sounded cruel. You cannot slut shame your client because of her clothing choices and Darcey was correct in saying that she needs someone that’s non judgmental. Clothes are clothes. She wants to show off the girls, let her show them off.

I agree. Ultimately, people are who they are and no one should expect anyone to change. I believe people should be who they naturally are. I do think people should consider making updates IF they want to try a different approach (such as dressing a different way); BUT only if it still reflects who they really are. Many men will be accepting of Darcey as she is - out their dresses; silly, fun, sensitive; etc; and won’t give a F about what she posts on Instagram. I think a matchmaker’s job is to match with how someone is now; not who they can attempt to be.
