Nicole must have first traveled to New Cairo. I spent a month there with Egyptian friends from New Cairo and there was really no reason/motivation for us to go to conservative areas like where Mouhmood lives especially as a tourist. She can live an almost completely western life literally four blocks from where she is!

New Cairo is an eastern suburb where the airport is at. She's literally flown in and out. It's where most people in Cairo go to visit the fancy malls. There are modern liberal neighborhoods in Cairo not far from where she's at.

The pyramids are in a conservative, improvised area. The historical parts where tourists visit are in more conservative areas. Newer suburbs are out of the way of the sites other than perhaps 6th of October and the new museum.

Nothing she said made any sense. How is a one way ticket the logical option, even if you're not sure if you'll be gone for 2 or 3 weeks? The change fee is still easily cheaper than buying two one way tickets. And what kind of idiot who relies on any type of medication, let alone for a serious condition, 'moves' somewhere without figuring out how they are going to maintain that. She's running.

Here’s my optimistic spin: she left because she couldn’t continue her addiction in Colombia like she thought, but instead of going home to get more drugs and figure out how to sustain it in Colombia… she ghosted Jeymi because she was in rehab! Granted, the fact that she wasn’t telling Jeymi she was an addict in the preview, and the odd handkerchiefs tied to her forearms as she stormed off doesn’t support my theory of a successful rehab trip. Maybe a 90 Day/Intervention crossover episode would do it. 🤔

No kidding! Also, she didn’t do a quick Google or check right away whether her meds were available in Colombia? I’m on antidepressants and go through withdrawal if I miss more than one day so I always make sure I have enough before traveling or have a transfer plan. And isn’t it normally cheaper to buy a round trip ticket, even if you have to change the return date later, than two one way tickets?

She probably has to prove her identity by physically going, showing ID, and explaining the activity. However, it does not make sense that she can't buy a return ticket. She should be able to call and figure out exactly what she needs to prove her identity and make an appointment at a branch. 2 weeks is a long time to work that out.
