Micah is young. To say she wouldn’t be a nurturing mother is going way too far. Especially on camera. What he should have said, is that she wasn’t nurturing towards him, or not very warm. Idk. There’s a million ways to say it other than questioning whether or not someone would be a good parent, when in reality that’s impossible to know until someone has the actual job. Update: Mattie basically said what I said. He couldn’t say she wasn’t nurturing to him.

I wish people could understand how upsetting it is to be asked "when are you having a baby" in your childbearing years, then "why didn't you have children" when you're older. Do they ever stop to think that maybe you wanted a child more than anything, but you were not able to??!! It's incredibly rude and makes you feel defective. It's just as bad as asking someone why they are overweight or why they are not attractive.

Did y’all see that Josh got engaged in the pods? It’s so weird that they leave all that out. Vanessa was so up Jackie’s ass. It was embarrassing. I know you’re not an Andy fan but he did say you can’t get to the bottom of anything in a hour live reunion. You need to be able to get into things into depth and give them enough time to open up.

I think all the women (that she questioned) on the show had previously stated that they DO want to have children. Asking once is one thing but she really went in. What if one of them was trying and it hadn’t happened yet, or was trying and had a miscarriage? It was not ok to go as hard as she did, and was REALLY uncomfortable to watch.

Micah is kind of a bad person and was frequently awful on the show, but I felt bad for her at this reunion. Am I the only one who thought Paul sort of came across as a sociopath?? Just a total blank slate concerning how his words were affecting other people, and the totally flat tone when he said those cruel things. "Micah and my mother are aesthetically similar, but there's a difference in character." 😬 The show created this weird character arc for him of 'shitty in the pods--->seems sweet and good with Micah outside the pods--->shitty again at the end'.

I've been saying since season 2, they need some sort of checkpoint between the honeymoon and the weddings for them to sit with someone with some letters behind their name, because... it's too much time out in the wild with absolutely no tools. Marriage is built off more than vibes and feelings fueled by alcohol and the producers have not thought much about the endgame of these people besides the weddings.

I really need you guys to watch Love is Blind Japan as a bicurious or something, it's wild how different it is. Not only are most of the people fully adults and some even divorced or parents, but the cultural nuances are fascinating. I can't wait for the 2nd season, which they say is definitely coming.

I know I'm in the minority, but I do not believe that Marshall didn't call Jackie a slur. The word was redacted from a text she sent to Tiffany. And I just have a hard time believing that "strong jaw" was as far as the insult went. Jackie is terrible, but I've side-eyed Marshall from very early on

I kind of felt for Paul. He was in situation where over time he could see Micah was shallow and mean girl and then the show confirmed even more with scenes he wouldn’t have known about such as her and Irina laughing at their housemates crying. Just that alone showed she had no empathy and was callous. I’m not buying that Micah was into him. She treated the decision of Kwame vs Paul as a game and I think just like Irina, she only picked Paul to stay on the show and continue the process for the heck of it.

Vanessa and Nick are not listed as producers online for this show. They are terrible hosts and Vanessa came off as so insanely rude as she cut people off and spoke over them constantly. I actually had to turn it off

Fair. He does know his reunion ish. I gave up on him one day when I realized that he was just gleefully furthering misogyny. Loved the crap out of him until that point, loved his cleverness, style and pop culture knowledge/obsession. And I just snapped. Woke up. Stopped watching the RH shows, too. Probably also had to do with the fact that my daughter was young and I was watching tv with her and teaching her about things and relationships through the shows we would watch and I realized how dark it all was, the woman-on-woman bs. And then I had the shit show that was the trump candidacy and had more than enough drama to keep me engaged on MSNBC ;)

I also thought Paul came off as a sociopath for most of the season. People seem to think that all sociopaths are like serial killers but the majority are super smart, functional people just with no real empathy. I think when he said that he & Micah “saw the world in the same way” he wasn’t lying. They’re both superficial but for different reasons. Micah was an easy person for him to be with in the beginning because she is not emotionally deep and he didn’t have to work hard to understand her.
