Tionne (sp?) is just an obnoxious person. She doesn’t come from a life or luxury. We saw her very normal UK flat she lived in. The “bags” she was holding in her first episode were mostly blank, no name or logo on them. I get copywriting laws, etc, but this girl is just obnoxious. She is like those young guys that are “thousandaires” that like to show off but have nothing to show.

I got goosebumps when I heard Poodle never saw …. Well for me it’s Anne with an E. It’s BEAUTIFUL. she’s a 12 year old feminist that speaks in prose all the time. Poodle is basically Marilla. There is even a gay boy who takes to the woods to build with clay! (Although I know how triggering clay is for poodle). Anne would get in trouble on purpose at the orphanage so she could read Jane Eyre! She nicknames herself Cordelia. There is an Aunt Jo who was in a “Boston marriage” and has parties with LGBTQ community of the time. Her skin is alabaster. There are wishing wells. WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED!

I have Jose grade hair but I keep it very short. And my son has always gone to barbers so as a black woman, I can attest that I may have done the same thing Louise did with his hair. I give her credit actually for lovingly doing his hair. There’s something intimate about partners doing the others hair. This may be a hard segue, but have either of you ever seen Out of Africa? When Robert Redford washes Meryl Streep’s hair outside….swoon 😍 so romantic.
