If anything Rob probably got teased for being soft, or pretty because of how he looks. It’s a slippery slope saying someone biracial with light eyes and skin was bullied due to colorism, when they have the more desirable (as deemed by society) European features. It’s an ongoing discussion within the community.

I wonder if part of Sophie's feeling of being an outsider is also due to classism. Her family may have money, but in a UK context, she and her mother's accents and styles read as very working class, which I imagine would be rough in a private school. I can see why she would feel more comfortable living in LA, with or without this useless guy.
