Cairo is 36 miles away from Tallahassee. As an FSU alumn, I can confidently say that there is nothin’ but nothin’ surrounding that capital city. Could go into Thomasville GA for some “fun” mayyyyybe (if Isaac hasn’t already “kissed” em all lol) but Tallahassee is def where the action is coughpussycough 😆

I was wondering why a black woman would choose to open a business in Cairo, GA. So, I googled: Cairo, GA has a pop of over 10,000. And at 48.8%, the majority of the population is black. That is definitely not the image of this town that’s been produced for us. Until Ethan and Olivia’s going away party we have seen no diversity. It makes me think maybe production is hiding these optics because the Plaths ARE slumlords. Kim is dating an overt racist after all.

Poodle there have been tree trimmers here all day. I walked out with my baby to go to mommy and me class and couldn’t even get to my car. Took them 20 minutes to create a path for me to walk through. Then they were blocking my car. Don’t get me started on nap time with that noise! 🤣

Victoria is about a half hour from Minneapolis. It’s a gorgeous little town I drive through a lot to get to my brother’s. It’s not far from Paisley Park. There are lots of orchards and wineries out there…rolling farmy hills, but the suburban sprawl is making its way to Victoria. It’s too small for me, but close enough to Minneapolis that Olivia would be happy.

So I have to say, with all love meant, I am still not here for “Mama” Plath. I still see her as the vile, selfish woman she is. As a mom, I agree fully that you need to have an identity outside of your children. That said, she still has little children who depend on her, and while I don’t like to judge parenting, I do firmly believe that if you become a parent it’s your duty to put your children first. She is not just now thinking of herself, she always has. She’s just using a different narrative, using Papa Plath and her newly found independence as the scapegoat because, well … it’s believable and easy to do so. She never put her children first; she hardly educated them, alleged financial abuse, and practically pushed her 16 year old daughter out the door. And that’s all we’re aware of. Now for the man she chose - how convenient that she is seeing the man she took a loan out with to “help” her son get a plane. I wonder what that financial arrangement looks like, and how it’s an advantage to her. Not only that, she was complicit and active in pounding in the sanctity of marriage to her children, then all of a sudden abandoned it, and then starts seeing someone months later and has no care for the mental health of her children? I don’t care if she says she cares, she doesn’t. She’s a grown woman and can curb her “desires” for the time being for her young children and put them as a priority. This isn’t just a “normal” family divorcing, this is uprooting the moral ground you forced your children to stand on from under them without warning. Sorry for the rambling … she just irks me so badly! I could go on for hours but i’ll stop
