As far as voting goes… I’m a millennial. Was born in 95 and paid attention to politics closely since probably the bush years… volunteered doing phone calls for the Obama campaign the whole 9. I think I would’ve been really apathetic and not voted if I wouldn’t have noticed a shift in the political climate… i saw them be SO ANGRY that a black man was able to come to power and the pendulum just SWUNG. I think all this shit we’re dealing with now is coming to a head and we’re gonna endure something REALLY big that is going to level this craziness out. It’s probably not going to be pretty and there is going to be some suffering but I think it’ll be necessary for this country/world to progress for our kids. I think at the end of the day, 90% of people TRY to be good and are good but are just misinformed, brainwashed and scared.

Thank you for talking about this. I live in Greenville (HI POODZ) and am a therapist who provides gender affirming care to adolescents and young adults. I don’t rattle easily and it’s getting SCARY. I’m seeing increasingly lethal suicide attempts and more brazen and violent bullying that schools won’t respond to. We need to keep this conversation front and center.
