Change is in the air - a peek behind the curtains (Patreon)

Ever since I started the channel, my output was constrained by my need to retain anonymity. Where others arrange their ideas, write down the main talking points and just talk to the camera - I have to get the script ready with all the i-s dotted and all the t-s crossed - (otherwise my narrator gets stuck and can't do his magic), add instructions, go through 2-3 rounds of revisions (usually with a weekend in between) and then start adding the visuals.

The narrator himself is great (he's professional, hard working - and a fellow Tesla fan and investor so puts his heart into this) - it's the process which is the problem, and together with the time required for research and a busy day job, my output was around a couple of videos per month, and with too little giving back to you guys, the ones who enable this channel.

I tried addressing this using a CGI mask, and while this did improve my throughput the quality was poor so I pulled the plug on that.

I am happy to announce that all this is about to change. After several trials I finally found a setup I am comfortable using. In a few days I will release the first video using this setup, and others will follow - including patron exclusive videos.

My narration isn't nearly as polished as my narrator's, but it is personal and better represents me; I will quickly improve and besides, if the presentation is good enough (with the CGI masks it wasn't), it's the content that counts.

Having said all that, I do plan to continue providing professionally narrated and fully edited deep dives on topics deserving that
