This video delves into the engineering marvels and advanced AI which  made it possible for Tesla to make a bot ready for factory work in  record time, and show why Optimus is ready for work NOW.

Part 2 coming soon, will examine the bot's economic impact. It provides  models and numbers to show the insane value the robot should bring and  how it would catapult Tesla to become the world's largest company!

Great video. I wonder if the bots could learn from a operating 3d model of a factory. I believe Tesla is building operating 3D models of the assembly line. AI could help the bot to see where it could be most useful on the line. Imagine a bot suspended horizontally on a rig above a car on the line , or attached to a parallel track of the line moving between floors. The bots could learn where to be most useful , irrespective of what a human could do….and be ready to work as soon as the line is operational.

The thing I keep thinking about is Elon saying that the new way of making Tesla's is modular. This is perfect for Optimus to have an enclosed setting without human spies to make meaningful modules for output and keeping a lid on how advanced it is. Also making modules in a side assembly line makes it like the game Factorio with a conveyor linking the module factory to the final assembly line. Elon has said that he played this game so it probably is in the back of his mind.

Also it is much easier to update a module line for an improvement to the whole car instead of stopping the whole assembly line for said improvement. Having extra modules ready to assemble into a vehicle will not shut down the whole line for the improvement to be implemented as the whole line keeps using the extra modules. All while the module line is being updated.
