Hello everyone!

Wanted to update you on a couple of things that are going on.

You might have noticed that for the last month and half i didn't publish any new maps; i needed some rest and wanted to explore new ideas and ways to grow as an artitst.

After much thinking and some tribulations i will lay down a sort of roadmap not only for the Patreon but also for me:

Regarding the Maps -

The main focus, for the immediate future, is getting done a couple commission from 2 of our Patrons, that i'm sure you'll all find very useful, and finishing the Castle Illmarrow series.

New Assets -

Magitek Pack 2 is coming very soon, here's a small preview of some assets:

This will be available both for Dungeondraft and PNGs.

Token Builder -

Currently i'm not satisfied with the offer of tokens, with the maps taking increasingly more time to make (Fallen District took more than 2 weeks)i want to give you the tools to make as many character tokens you want.

I think Dungeondraft could also work very well as a token-making software without needing to learn very expensive and complicated stuff (like photoshop).

Here's a very WIP sneak peek of the token builder:

Still nailing down the main pieces and how to best do this while at the same time making it easy to use and having a big range of pieces to choose from (which can be expanded).

Study of Blender and 2d Animation -

This is the big one for me personally!

I fell in love with animation and the softwares used to make those, but it's something completly new and that requires a great amount of learning. Currently i'm following a full course on animation and Blender, focusing on 2d, for now...

Already tried my hand making a few simple animations, here's some:

Already found a way to make them in WEBM format which is the only animation format supported by Foundry and they work well and are easy to use.

Anyway still need to study and experiment a lot but animations are coming (this opens up a huge range of new possibilities like animated maps and tokens).

Conclusions -

I'm very excited for this but it also mean that maps release will slow down a little as i will need to dedicate time to learning.

Anyway i'm sure this time will bear it's fruits soon and i will be able to create some really exciting stuff!

Looking forward to share more with you and, as always, i'm humbled by your support!

Thank You! <3

Appreciate the comms. I do want to mention: I generally see people go to different artists for maps vs tokens, so I'm not entirely sure if throwing your heart and soul into both is going to have as good of returns (though my cross section is professional GMs, so not necessarily representative across the board). I for one am subscribed here for Eberron maps for my Eberron pro games, and for that work, I salute you.
