HEY GUYS!

How have you all been??

Here's a little preview of a 3 paged comic I had been working on as a secret project! I still can't say much about it, but since I was working for a client this took me longer to finish than I expected!

I'm now back to working on No North's Deluxe edition! I'm having to resize, restore and repaint the borders of every single one of the 227 pages of the comic into letter format (and of course I'm also going to create some bonus content!), so it's going to take a while, but I think this is truly going to be worth all the years of work - Because No North is finally getting a hardcover, printed edition that will finally be available worldwide!

So stay tuned! Big things are coming!! <3

Thank you all SOOOO much for being here and believing in this project! I can't wait to share more with you all!!

Oh my gosh, I do not have words, this is absolutely amazing. The lighting and shading, the coloring and everything- it is so beautiful and so well done!! It adds so much life to the characters and the setting. The expressions on each, the surprise on the maned wolf’s face and that lovesick terrier is so well drawn, and in the jaguars, too. I can’t wait to learn more about them. The environment, the grass, the trees, it all looks so good. I don’t see a lot of artists taking time and care to draw the backgrounds in their art, they usually just focus on the main subject, but you made it look just amazing! And the wide, wavy borders of the panels give it a kind of ‘free’ feel and lets each panel have their room. Plus, it frames that maned wolf in the corner perfectly! Plus, one more thing, I really love the sky, you made it look gorgeous. You truly used all your skills on this one! Your client must be very happy, I cannot wait to see the final thing!! And No North getting a deluxe edition, a physical, hardcover copy, with bonus content, is the best news I could have possibly heard, absolutely made my week, and probably made my year. Your art but especially No North means so, so much to me- the characters, the story, everything. I collect almost all the books I read, including screenplays and art books from my favorite movies, films, and shows, and a lot of beautiful graphic novels and comics from independent artists that are wonderful stories and mean a lot to me, and it would be the most amazing thing to have No North with me, to just to take it off the shelf anytime and be able to see and feel the magic in it’s pages, to take it with me and reread it anytime, and share it with my friends and family. And the fact that you’re also taking the care to make a deluxe edition, restoring parts of the story (artwise) for the book, thank you so very much, you don’t know how much it means to me and, I’m sure, to us, that we will soon get to have this book! The moment it comes out, I’ll be there! I cannot wait for it, thank you for all the work that you do, Skailia!

How cute!! I love how colorful this piece is! I can’t wait to see more of it. The Maned Wolf’s playful smile and the two jaguars are my favorite parts! I’m SOOO excited that Book 02 is being picked back up in the works, and I can’t wait for Book 1 to be released! That must be such a pain to repaint every single page, and I’m praying for you and the burnout 🙏🏻 excited to see what’s in store!! 👀

AAAA THIS LOOKS AMAZING!! The Maned Wolf is ADORABLE! I love their sweet expressions, and you're so good at drawing their anatomy! 💕 The doggo is really cute too, something about him kinda reminds me of Oliver from Oliver and Company mixed with Tramp 🤣 And the Jaguars look amazing!! I love their expressions as well! ✨ The environments are so vibrant and beautiful, they're so fun to look at! Absolutely AMAZING work on this comic Skailla! 💖 I'm so excited for the deluxe/hardcover edition of No North!! You've put so much work into it- i know it's gonna be AMAZING!! 💖💕

This comic project looks absolutely amazing! You’ve also done a beautiful work with it as well! Love how expressive the characters are and they all look awesome!

That is an amazing looking comic Skailla, wow! So much variety in this, and there's a lot I could say about it! I just love the variety in all of the panels - the colors, backgrounds, composition, the variety of the animals, it's great looking stuff! It's a great little demonstration of your artistic versatility! I especially love the maned wolf ❤️ I'm very curious about this comic project, and I really hope to see more about it! I'm guessing it's something about Brazilian wildlife from the look of it. And oh my goodness, a hardcover printed edition of No North?! I can't wait to get my hands on that! 😃Ooh I really wish I knew about all of the goings-on behind the scenes... You've got so much exciting stuff in the works!

Skailla, this is out of topic but you forgot to post No North pages on your official website for it, folks are mad…
