HEY GUYS! HOWDY???

It's paaaage daaaay ~

And oof, Baltazar is definitely extending his dark wings over Delilah's existence. He's terribly afraid of not being in control, and what a better way to ensure that than trough the spreading of fear?

I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on this page!!! It was great to work on this one, especially because of the light/shadow dynamic.

Absolutely STUNNING background 3D renders by the forever fantastic @kryatlicious <3

Flat character coloring by the amazing @wellrosa

ALSO! Got all of your AMAZING characters for the cameo in my e-mail! I'm slowly replying to everyone! Goodness, I wished I could include all of you in he comic T^T even if you don't get picked for this one, there will soon be more Cameo opportunities!! Thank you SO much for everything!!!

I hope you all have a fantastic day and thank you SO MUCH for making No North possible!!!! You're the best!!!!

This is one of those things where Balt is kinda right. It's the way he handles it... I think he really cares (and has control issues) But it is understandable Deli to feel trapped and likely unhappy

I really like the angles and the shaddow shot in this page

The backgrounds in this scene (and the last few for that matter) are nothing short of spectacular! Plus I love that bottom panel where it just shows their shadows, very nice! I know multiple people work on these, but I genuinely struggle to believe that you can have these out every single week and still have surprise page days! Also, about the cameo opportunity, I didn’t realise that email severely messed up the quality of the picture, is there another way I could send it?

Goodness, Delilah being held there kinda reminds me of either Tangled or Hunchback of Notre Dame. Someone being held at a place of residence with no freedom to leave. I also think maybe Balt underestimates Delilah's evasiveness and strength to stay safe out there. As always, I adore this comic so much, these early access pages to the 3rd issue is one of my favorite benefits to being your Patron 💖 As for the cameo, Im super excited to see who gets chosen (whether im chosen or not, id be super happy either way for the opportunity itself, thank you so very much 🥺). I hope you have a wonderful Friday and keep being awesome with your art and your epic story 😊

I have a sense that this situation is getting close to a breaking point. And once it does, this relationship is going to unravel quickly, no matter how much Delilah may want to make it work. She is clearly facing a worsening dilemma.

Balt is right about Oddwind being a dangerous place, he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to Delilah. He wants to protect her. But he also has understand that she wants freedom. to experience the world outside the garden.

Quite a two-sided situation here, showcasing that bad outcomes can often come from good intentions. It’s clear Baltazar cares about Delilah, but his own self-interests prevent him from caring about her feelings. Also, the page does an excellent job showing that control over others doesn’t strengthen relationships, it only unbalances them.

Maverick

Baltazar does care for Delilah a bit of a tough love situation. I do get it where he is coming from and trying to keep her safe from the danger in odd wind. It is a bit of harsh condition to let Delilah stay and not go outside but he is protecting her. On the other hand you can also see where Delilah situation is coming from as well

Balt chill out. I would stand up for Deli but sadly I can’t …. All I want now is to hug her

MarshalB

I want Baltazar to get dropped off something really high as much as I wanted Steel to die in Balto, lol. Love Delilah, she needs a hero to come rescue her…

The third panel just summaries their relationship in such an emotionally crushing image. I can only wish Delilah for better days...🥺🥺🥺

Captain_Campion

I think that Baltazar looks quite terrifying in the first panel.
