The new page came in a bit later today, I am sorry about this!

But ooooh who missed this lady and her smokey powers?

Painting this was challenging (getting the image I had of it out of my mind and making it work visually was a journey!) 

I would absolutely LOOOOVE to hear your thoughts on this!!! You guys are the BEST!!!

She lost Steban, but she isn’t going to lose Edgar. Also, I think that since she tempted Steban with visions of freedom, forgiveness, and also being accepted by all the dogs who scoffed at him and hated him for being an outsider, I think that she’s going to tempt Edgar with what he really wants. Like he was saying earlier, a life with Holly, finally being able to break free from the town and his father, and everyone accepting him for his interests in invention instead of Sam forcing him into the Hotel business. I’m really excited to see what happens next, and as always, such an outstanding page! Edit: If you zoom in on the Devil, it looks like she’s giving a side eye 😂

Wow, what a visually stunning page! 🤩 That smoke effect is so impressive! Looks like poor Edgar and Sam just walked into an ambush here, like she was just waiting for them 😬 I guess they're going to be our first disappearances in the story after all 😔 But I know they'll be rescued from her eventually. Somehow... This is such an exciting page Skailla! I can't wait to see where we go from here!
