Aaa, the thing that worries me is there isn't much they can do to hide with them that close to pursuit! I believe in Steban's cunningness.. he did out run Solomon in the begining so maybe he can trip a rock slide to slow them down.. maybe our hungry Puma friend will attack them and slow them down. Awesome page design as always! That sunshine especially is gorgeous 😍 ✨️ always exciting to see surprise page days, and always excited to see the next piece of the story 💖💖

Gods the lighting in this scene is supreme! I'm in awh at the background. Wonderfully done as always! I'm also loving the facial expressions here, you can really feel the adrenaline in this chase scene. So excited for more!

This is definitely one of the best comic pages I’ve seen in a while art wise. Those character expressions and the lighting really are superb 🤩! Great page Skailla 👍!

Oh my gosh, these past pages have been absolutely amazing, but this one’s just incredible! The first panel perfectly matches Steban and Martin’s fear and desperation in their expressions, and it honestly looks like it could be a snapshot from a movie or animated series! And the second panel is AWESOME, you can see the scorpions’ (Minus Hank and Adder) anger and spite in their eyes, and their fury is just shown so perfectly in their faces, agh, I love the second panel! And with the third panel, I’m not sure if it’s intentional, but Steban and Martin going two separate ways could be symbolism for how they came from two very different roads, but came together in the biggest adventure of all. Reminds me of that one No North piece you did called Two Roads! And the light coming out of the canyon where Stebs’ and Martin are going is so pretty! Also, I can’t see Adder or Hank in the background at all, so that must mean that one of them, probably Adder, was left behind with poor Kory. I had thought that maybe in the midst of the scorpions’ anger he would be left unguarded and escape, but maybe I was wrong. Maybe Hank is chasing them down another path? And maybe the Bull King’s coyote pack would have heard Kory’s howl and give the scorpions a taste of their own medicine? Such an interesting page!

Uhhhhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhhh looks like things are going to get interesting here. Absolutely they better run for it. We know what the scorpions are capable of and after that little attempt to trick them. I don’t think they will take it very lightly and let them off the hook that easy. Running and splitting in the maze might not be a good idea I wonder if Stevan has a backup plan for this I think he should as he always comes up with something. Amazing colours and lighting love it. Beautiful backgrounds, as usual! Love how intense things will get soon. Have a feeling Steban won’t escape this unscathed. Maybe Hank will corner them by taking another path? Speaking of, seems our duo is splitting up. Hope Martin will be okay on his own!
