AAAH IT'S PAGE DAY, GUYS! <3

How have you all been??

WOW, now that was a BOLD MOVE, Martin! Esther was absolutely not expecting him to react that way. Being called "Piglet" has probably snapped something dark in his brain HAHA!

Our beagle is not going down without a fight, apparently! But he's going down anyways... Down a cliff!

I would REALLY LOOOVE to hear your thoughts on this page!!! Thank you all so much for your amazing support and love!!!

Good Martin! Don't you listen to them <3 Let's hope he lands on something soft

Martín finally showing some backbone I see 😎! It’s great to see him finally standing on his own paws for once. I’m guessing he probably just wouldn’t stand for being called “piglet” anymore after the train station 😂. Great page Skailla 👍!

Now this is a very cool page! For the second time, we see a rare glimpse of Martin's brave side coming out! Definitely took some guts for him to do that. I like it when characters are placed into situations that force them to reveal a bit of an entirely different, and often unexpected dimension of themselves 🙂 It's always such a neat bit of character development I think it's also worth noting the significance of the name "Piglet" here, and how that triggers such a strong response from him. It's almost like it's the worst thing that he could be called, and the way you bold that word for emphasis further shows how important it is here. For Martin, this name cuts deep and represents everything he despises about his lot in life: his short stature, the victimization and feelings of inadequacy he's had to endure, the struggle against every opposing force in his life that has tried to keep him down. That word is deeply insulting to his sense of self-worth, and this scene is a demonstration of his will to fight back against that intolerable label and his refusal to deny who he knows he really is deep inside. He knows the greatness that he's capable of and that he deserves better out of life than what the name "Piglet" suggests - that he's insignificant, that he's nothing and nobody and undeserving of respect Martin decided here that he was going to fight back, and it wasn't just because he knew his life was in danger. This insult stirred a deep resentment within him, and in a split moment it was like something in him snapped, and it motivated him to prove something both to Esther and to himself. This scene shows how someone who seems like a pushover can do more and BE more than they seem capable of Anyway, that's about all I have to say on that. Thanks for coming to my TED talk! 😂

Can I ask you how long it took you to create this wonderful page? Then I don't understand how you create the lighting. I haven't seen a comic with those perfect colors and lighting yet

Woah that was brave of Martin unfortunately he may have not have thought the entire thing through

SaigeTheSilverWolf

Woah, I did NOT expect Martin to become our little lionheart! Let alone to the brutal Scorpions! You can just see the difference in his face when Esther calls him piglet. Boy, did she make a mistake! The poor beagle has been pushed aside all his life, assumed that his ideas and writing skills were as small-witted as his size. He’s finally heard it all too much, and this was the last straw. He had been manipulated by Solomon, but he wouldn’t make that mistake again…now he finally found his courage to stand up to them! Hopefully Steban saw that from the rock ledge he was on! I don’t think even he would have been brave enough to do that himself! You can also kind of see that Esther and Rat have sort of a soft side, seeing that when Martin didn’t fight back at all, they almost decided to not fight or personally kill him and instead push him down the cliff, almost deciding to give him a less painful death or maybe even a chance of survival! I have loved these past few pages, danger really does bring out the true feelings in all of us! Awesome page!

Wow Martin!! Who knew he had a brave streak to him! I guess the name “piglet” strikes a nerve in him, and it’s nice to see his character growth begin to start. But let’s hope he’s okay falling off the cliff. Maybe Steban will catch him!

Wow who knew Martin had the courage to stand up against those who push him over the edge! You show them Martin way to go! Looks like you shouldn’t understand those who may look small but they sure will have the courage to fight back if necessary ☺️ wonder if Martin will have the courage to stand up to Solomon. Another great page Skailla have an awesome weekend and an awesome week
