The Deathstalker trained long and hard not to ever flinch during combat. Well, looks like that did not work in his favor this time!

Welp I don’t think Hank will be able to chase them anymore. If Steban could barely crawl out of that crack in the rocks, Hank sure ain’t gonna be able to.

Our boy certainly knows how to think quickly and fight dirty when the chips are down! Seems that this has saved his hide LOTS of times! And oof, I don't think there are many things worse than getting sand kicked in your eyes, that couldn't have felt good! 😣 Certainly effective though! Steban seems to escape a lot of bad situations just by a hair's breadth too. Looks like he has quite a lucky streak! I've really enjoyed this sequence a lot so far. As I've said before, there's a lot of great action here and you do a great job conveying that sense of motion and giving the reader a feel for the scene. And I think the lighting and atmosphere also really help to convey the tension and drama, as well as all the character poses and expressions, which are super impressive! I think these pages further demonstrate your skill and versatility in a lot of ways. Everything is super well done! 👍 But this whole comic has been nothing short of amazing so far! No North is a very visually impressive comic, and the look of this world combined with the incredibly well-written and lovable characters and lore you and Kryat have come up with just makes it all feel so expansive and alive! And I know there is still plenty more of this awesomeness yet to come! This is definitely a story that grabs you and pulls you in, and I'm totally here for it! I love you guys and what you're doing here 💖 And I'm glad to be here seeing it all unfold and throwing in my little contribution to it all ✨

Oh, I’ve loved seeing how this fight between Steban and Hank will play out! Every time I see the page day, I get so excited! And oof, Steban throwing sand, gritty desert sand, into Hank’s eyes must really hurt! Kudos to him for recovering so quickly! Our boys really know how to fight dirty when they need to. And it also looks like Steban made it under that rock by the skin of his teeth, and I can also see he’s got a pretty big scratch on his foreleg that’s still bleeding. Right where Hank bit him, too!That massive guy’s got some sharp teeth! AND I just noticed his poor tail! I love that detail, how that wound is exactly where Hank bit him and dragged him in. It looks bad…Hopefully they’ll be able to escape well enough to treat it- or have they already escaped? I also wonder where Viper is…we haven’t seen him in a while. Maybe he’ll be the final boss for our boys? I don’t think he could be stronger than Hank, though. I wonder how Esther and Rat are doing, too, even though they’re villains, I hope they aren’t seriously hurt. And I really like the detail of Martin’s shadow on the rocks in panel 4, how it’s just like his outline would be. And in panel 5, how you can just see how huge Hank’s skull is compared to Steban’s, let alone Martin’s! You were right when you said he’s an absolute bear of a dog! Although, on the bright side, that definitely means he’s too big to fit under the rocks…right? Awesome page!

Waaaaaaay to go Steban that’s gotta show him. Steban sure has a few tricks up his sleeve when it comes to close moments like that. The Deathstalker sure wouldn’t want to mess with him either he’s built like an absolute unit. Those snappers of him sure going to do quite the damage. Poor Steban hope he’s alright and gets help.
