As Ruin's writing is drawing to a close, I am beginning the rough outline for the Bloodblade Fight Club: Carnage graphic novel that I plan on beginning work on in 2027. There are two ways this can be done that I'm giving some consideration to. Initially, and more time-consumingly, I'd adopt the same workflow I did for the aborted Mortal Kombat: Bloodlines fanfic comic I made years ago- using rendering in combination with photo-editing software to give it a comic-style look, like below:

The obvious drawback here is time. This would eat away into my content workflow, likely lowering output from 3 fight sets a month to 2. In addition, it may seem less comic-like and more like an obviously cartoonized edit of a 3D render- which in itself isn't bad, but obviously not professional. The second option is to embark on a collaborative project with other artists; commissioning panels or deciding on a split endeavor. This will save time but require necessary negotiation and a business partnership. I'm weighing both options.

Several followers here and on DeviantArt have mentioned they're already making fanart of the Bloodblade characters and universe, and this is seriously inspiring. I'd like those of you who have a knack for this and want to explore collaboration to reach out to me so we can discuss what can be done in this respect. The current Bloodblade novels are self-published, but there's proof of concept and a sizeable following on both DeviantArt and Patreon, such that a pitch can be made to smaller publishers for a graphic novel.

If you're interested, let me know. If you just love the Bloodblade universe and characters and want to pay homage with fanart, let me know! I am open to alternate costumes for the characters, by the way!

It would be cool if we could have a full animation of one of the fights, just dreaming here...
