Announcement: March Updates (Patreon)

Hello fans and followers. Some course-changes in terms of art. I'm going to be uploading previews on DA ahead of drops per month as a kind of "taste of what's to come" for the month. I'm also slowly but surely going to add narrative scenes to DeviantArt, and here and Pixiv as freebies. So far the workload is going to be 3 fight galleries per month, 1-2 finisher theaters, and continued work on Ruin. I have a list of commissions to work on and these take second priority to content obligations and writing- I'm not primarily a commission artist. Therefore, new commissions will be closed for the foreseeable future as I get all of this done. A recent file-move to a new hard drive has also messed with some of my models so I am working around and fixing that. I love that so many people are getting into the story and like the characters! But the thing with commissions is that people also don't have the artists' view perspective of how scenes are made and what goes into the effects used, or the content workload in general, and make all sorts of super-complicated requests. So hopefully filling you all in on what's on the work itinerary per month will give some perspective on things.

As for what to expect this month?

M-M Fight: Akira vs. Nightmare. As stated before, this is a good ninja-meets-supernatural matchup and it takes place in the Cabal's Infernal Nexus. It's a dark setting for a dark, unsettling match. So far, Akira has won one match (vs. Eviscerator) and lost one match (vs. Park Seon-Mi). Nightmare, in turn, has lost two matches (vs. Rukhsana and Phaedra).

M-F Fight: Rukhsana vs. Ghoul. This is a really hot match- in both senses of the word. Rukhsana lights the altar room on fire and the two duke it out in a sweaty, high-temperature match amid the smoke and flame. Rukhsana has thus far won every match she's been in (vs. Nightmare and Bruiser) and Ghoul, who has become a bit of a jobber, has won one match (vs. Atzi) and lost one match (vs. Gennadiy).

F-F Fight: Aygun vs. Yamoja. This is Aygun's official debut- I know many were waiting to see her fight Phaedra, and that match will be coming up. However, the way the loincloth asset works on Aygun's tribal costume doesn't sit right with me and given the intricate designs, it is an inherent risk to try to wing it in Photoshop. This match will feature Aygun in her pre-transformation, student outfit, and she will actually use her werewolf powers. Yamoja, if you recalled, got absolutely creamed by Eviscerator.

Finisher Theater: As promised, a re-do of Aygun's "De-Liverance" on Abayon, and we will see Nightmare get his revenge on Phaedra by roasting her alive with his infernal essence.

Ruin is in its final writing stages- last chapter. I'm wrapping it up at 300 or so pages and it is epic in ways that Reckoning and Carnage cannot match. We will be tragically parting ways with a few fan favorites as their stories come to an end, and setting up for Ascension with solidified Good (Rukhsana, Darian, Ming, Spektra, Phaedra, Harrison, Deringer) and Evil (Atzi, Tamora, Seon Mi, Nightmare, Eviscerator) factions. There has been a reshuffling of power among oligarchs with some of the big ones killed off, while the Valkyries (female Cabal priests) are introduced, along with their unsettling eugenics program, and we will be setting the stage for Maytal to become a regular fighter in the roster. This means Maytal will be turned into a model and featured in fights, as well. I will be editing and re-editing Ruin until perhaps May, then releasing both the regular edition and the Limited Edition at the same time. This will be followed by the Villains Codex entries wrap-up, and the Heroes Codex entries.
