Should I add Lifebars to fight scenes?

The benefit is it becomes more informative and fighting-game like, the drawback that it takes away from immersion.

I've included a tentative example below, obviously adding this will involve putting it on an HUD outside of the picture as many of the more immersive shots don't leave much room at the top for the overlay.

What do you all think?

Although the lifebars are a really good idea but I think the fights should be more immersive

I guess I'm trying to do whatever I can to avoid moderators on DA and other discovery sites flagging my content; without signifiers that it's a video-game inspired project, it can easily be framed as problematic in these days where stylized costumes are worse than overt gore, and where gore/fighting + hot costumes can trip a few wires. But maybe I'm being overly concerned over nothing.

I think the thing that really should add is the aftermath of the dead character

I hear this but that leans too much in the territory of the kind of stuff platforms ban. As long as the violence is part of the fight, platforms are okay with this. The moment it can be decontextualized it can be interpreted as problematic by moralistic moderators. Since this is paid output I'm not trying to put it at risk. Commissions are open, however.

love to have lifebars
