Why am I password-protecting files now? It's an added layer of security. I care about this project and giving you fans what you need, and unfortunately, this week things have taken a turn for the worse for a lot of folks in the art community. I understand this extra step may be frustrating, but it's for the longevity of the project. Small businesses are really standing alone against the weight of big corporations, and we are just doing whatever we can to survive.

Thank you for your understanding!

Super out of the loop, what happened in the art community this week?

PayPal is going on a crusade. Stripe did as well and there was some pushback. Many artists are being pushed into crypto.

yeah we kinda just found out and luckily my friend told me what was going on which it still sucks but its better knowing than just playing games with paypal. it sucks cuz I also dont support cyrpto, but i fully get it and dont blame anyone for doing what they gotta do.

Like, Im mostly a commissioner, so Im trying to find ways to get people thier money so we can make a deal and make projects and all that- but this affects a metric fuck ton of people that rely on this for a living. Its none of youre buisness paypal, if i wanna pay John-Patreon for some xxx-clusive, personalized content, then let me! Meanwhile AI is more uncontrolled and rampant than ever, which im not personally against using it, but like, support individual artists shouldnt be harder to do becuz the middle man decided he wanted to judge what money is changing hands for. This is only the begining, im sure once this really gets around, theres gonna be crazy backlash.

It's a convergence of interests. On the one hand you have evangelical and feminist groups that are pressuring payment processors. On the other hand you have p-rn industry giants like OF/PHub that want to elbow out artists that make any suggestive content so they can dominate that sphere. It's telling that payment processors work with OF and Fansly.
