Great fight, nice to see Chloe win her fight. This might be one of Aygun's first losses, though she put up a good fight, especially with swinging her axe. Great camera work on the falcon flying. I didn't know that Chloe can counter a striker attack, but that's an interesting twist. Wish Aygun could have held onto the momentum after her primal scream. How come Aygun didn't transform into a werewolf to win the fight or out of self preservation? Maybe Chloe's attacks were too fast and Aygun was too stunned to respond. The animation's transition frames can be improved as it can look a little glitchy between scenes. Overall another great fight with an interesting backdrop.

I agree, some of the transitions were a bit sudden- thanks for the pointer. This was the first fight where I used filler frames to convey emotion, namely of Aygun losing her sanity after her hawk (her father's spirit, in her mind) was killed. That led to her attacks becoming emotionally-driven and unfocused, and ultimately her defeat by Chloe. I personally didn't expect Chloe to come out on top since the votes were pretty much tied until the last minute. I think the hope lost after Yagmur was killed + the sad atmospheric black metal made this fight particularly tragic, but this emotional undercurrent dovetails perfectly with the story to make this a "narrative-driven" fight rather than something more technical or action-heavy. In theory, Aygun would have turned into a werewolf. But I had to sell a defeat and I felt like Chloe defeating her in wolf form would have warranted a longer fight and would have been less believable.
