Okay. I have an announcement to make. I know this might sound kind of weird, knowing me but... Uh... I've been working on loosening my standards. Making this whole thing a real job and all that.

I wrote these. As a commission. With no Beta or anything. This is all me. So, if you want to give me something a little...outside of my normal reach, I'll try and do it.

I don't mind it honestly. It's good to break from your comfort zone.

There's nothing particularly wrong with a comfort zone either. Additionally, if you're thinking of as of yet not quite explored things to try your hand at, I would say you can even look no further than "just" perpetuating your running stories into an arc with a beginning and an end. That's already plenty difficult and, in my opinion, enough of an outlier in the world of smut to also attract people. Though I'm not privy to whether/how much you need commissions, nor to the mind of others; so I apologize if I'm speaking out of turn.

Tantric is My Baby... I hope to get it at the end in another 50 chapters or so. *Laughs* And yeah. I kinda do need commissions. It's kind of how I'm alive right now. And stuff. *Nods*

Just wondering...for anyone who's read this stuff... How was it? This isn't exactly something I'm used to doing, you know?

I can only speak for the second one, since I am firmly uninterested by grown dudes. On top of that, I'm a big softy, so my vision is further colored since I favor couples that actually talk and like to each other. I may also not have quite the memory to make accurate statements also. And I'm afraid it'll just boil down to saying "I don't like thing". But if that doesn't sound too horrible, I can try offering feedback. I think it's difficult to judge a single piece like this in any case since it's very niche. Either the kink grabs the reader and they'll willingly participate in seeing good in your piece, or it won't and they'll feel estranged from those who did get grabbed because it doesn't push their buttons. Near as I can tell, the biggest change isn't the quality, but the tone. The tone is a lot more drab, which I'll hazard is by design since the commission doesn't really, by common sense, lend itself to your otherwise relatively light style. Though, since Aisha's already gone off the deep end (not a moral judgement) it might have been interesting to take counter point to common sense with dark humor; but that's pointless extrapolation at this point. Stylistically, the most I can remember is a somewhat heavy handed insistance on Aisha being black. Possibly an indulgence on the cliché (in which case I'll step back, since then it's just another of those things I don't understand), but there are other words for it also. Dark-skinned. Brown. Chocolate(y). Scorched earth. Dusky. Swarthy. Sable. Though this may just be because I enjoy authors flexing words, something against which some people feel strongly adverse, and which wouldn't necessarily fit your style. It's also that tend to think that bringing up that kind of detail characteristic again after one or two times is unnecessary from a strictly informative standpoint, which means it's done purposefully: either so the reader remembers it in the case of plot, or to wax about appearances when with coupled a nice flattering turn of phrase; but you rarely indulge in either so it kinda stood out as weirdly utilitarian here. Finally, another consequence of the niche kink/her power is that the sex itself has to be handled completely differently: it's too specific to really compare it to other examples. It didn't particularly So, uh, I guess all the differences I noticed mostly are tied to the niche nature of the commission. They didn't strike me as worse so much as different from usual, they just didnt grab me because I am not part of this niche. Which I guess just means that there's nothing stopping you from taking niche requests since it seems like you can write them. Niche audiences are happy for what they get, so I wouldn't worry too much. Hopefully this was at least somewhat useful. Unrelatedly, patreon's UI is utter garbage. What do you think about monochrome?
