My grandmother was sick. But now she isn't.

The funeral is tomorrow. Sorry, guys.

My Grandfather (who was the only father I had) died a few months ago. It sucks... Keep your chin up dude.

I get how that feels, my grandfather caught something in his lungs earlier this year and with his immunosuppressents it killed him. (Kidney transplant) Before that I always kinda thought he was invincible, you know? Then they had to put him on the ventilator and it was only a few days later that he passed on. Every months later after the funeral I don't think I've quite come to terms that he's gone. I'm so glad that a few months earlier we were able to take him indoor skydiving (he's always wanted to go and he had a great time) and that I was able to talk to him in the hospital before he passed. Even now, typing this out almost hurts, but if it can help you know that I really do understand the loss of losing someone close to you and helps it's worth it.

Oof. His actually hurt me vicariously even though my paternal grandmother literally hasn't said more than two words to me and my maternal grandmother is just a ball of greed and spite. Wishing you a healthy grieving process and the ability to remember your grandmother the way she would have wanted you to remember her and that this time next year you'll be happy to celebrate her life instead of being bitter about how it had come to an end.
