I'm excited and interested in seeing this be continued to episode 12! I still want to recommend this show if it ever gets drop. This is an anime that's slept on, highly too much so. This is indeed an isekai, but not you're typical norm of isekais nowadays.

Chaolao

This anime was made only, and only as a promotional material for the light novel, and made by A1 studios who worked on, Violet Evergarden, Magi, etc, etc.

I'm very happy how intrigued you are with this series. Folks say that this anime is slow for its downside, but I agree to disagree with them. In my opinion, they're shonen junkies, who's unfamiliar with these types of shows. No offense.

K, to summarize their play styles, they 'have no' game like systems to assist them. They relayed on their actual experience and skills without, the game systems. As you've said about Goblin Slayer, you may have probably read online that it was inspired like DnD play styles. It's simply the same concept of DnD. For example, earlier in the beginning of this small fight with that one goblin, all their misses and coordination with each other are rolled with an sometimes specific DnD die. 1 being the lowest to fails/miss/misfortune, to 10 being the best rolls. All of those were miss and fails checks.

I had more to say but I was too focused to watch instead of pausing like I usually do. I forgot some of them. I'm damn sure you'll love this! Also, the ost of this anime is amazing, peak voice acting. I wouldn't mind you using headphones. It'll be more better in my opinion for the atmosphere, and the music. I hope more folks reacts to this anime more. I want a 2nd seasoned, all of us do.

Ah, Grimgar! I remember watching this show when it came out. Despite my general dislike for isekai, this one is very good. It could do without the classes and skills talk imo, but the actual isekai-ing is pretty great. Waking up with not just no memories, but no concept of who they were, apart from the occasional phases or reactions that slip out seemingly from nowhere.
