(because of course the anime can't give it all) The first Hassan-i Sabbah, the old man of the mountain, is the first recorded assassin, because of him the word assassin exist in the first place, is because of this that he has the concept of death, he is the natural enemy of life, in fate is thanks to him that life has meaning as he embodies death and his power levels are off the charts, he is so powerful that he should have "presence concealment EX", which is what is necessary to be a grand assassin servant (to give an example, Merlin said that to be a grand caster you need a powerful type of clairvoyance, Merlin and Gilgamesh caster enter this area) this mean that his presence shouldn't be feel by anything that he wish to kill, yet this presence concealment is always cancel out because anyone, being animal or plant can feel a natural feeling the moment he is close, that their life is going to end in the next moments, that death is close.
