So…..Misaka was whining about Touma “playing a hero,” yet….. who was it that lied to work with law enforcement expecting to get out in the field to catch badniks??? 🤔

Well, it's more that it's almost impossible to explain that Touma did it. Like...no one is going to believe a Level 0 did that, and would probably just think she's lying either way. Remember, Touma's power don't make sense to the people in Academy City, and thus even if he tried to get credit it wouldn't even work. Also, from Misaka's perspective, Touma's power seem like a 'secret' since he' tried to hide his powers during their meeting on the bridge. As he keeps trying to act like a normal Level 0, so it seems to her that he wants to keep his powers secret. At least that's how I always viewed it, and it seems to be how the story treats it. At least in Railgun.
