The mark on her chest. Kuro def removed it. I dont remember the specific details on how. But because she is thr smart part of the lesser grail, while the human part is illia. Just assume she figured it out after seeing bazet without her pain crest, cuz karen removed it for her. If karen could do it, i suppose in kuro's thinking, as a lesser grail, why could she not. And might have done of screen research. who knows

No your wrong on the part that kuro could only project hollow imitation all the time. In season 1, when kuro and illia were still on the same body. Kuro could imitate to full NB Excalibur. The reason she could not rn, is because she is split as i said. And the reason she said hollow imitation, is because there is no volume inside her imitation rn, probably lack of mana. Each nb that she tries to imitate now, will have every ability, but no structure. U will see the surface area of a sword like Excalibur, but the inside of the sword is empty. Think of a water balloon, there is not water in the balloon, it should be a water balloon. But she has no water to fill the balloon and as such its hallow. And because its a hollow imitation, there is no activation of a NB compared to season 1 archer before they split in season 2, where kuro beat saber by using Excalibur herself.
