As was said already throughout the anime, its not about lesser and greater grails Miyu is already a walking fully completed grail, he just needs another Completed grail to do what he attempts to do, not a lesser grail. Miyu is a complet real holy grail. The Einsbern only needed a lesser grail to connect to the greater grail because of how the grail they had worked. Miyu is not like the Einsbern Holy grail i will explain it rn Einsbern Holy grail has 2+1=3 2 being greater grail 1 being the lesser grail 3 being the complete holy grail now onto miyu. she has no greater or lesser holy grail. cuz she is not one who needs the other to be complete, she is already complete. the reason einsbern have the greater and lesser grail structure is because of Greater grail is the magical formation taking mana from the leyline Lesser grail are the keys used to operate on the formation to use up what the formation has been taking. by sacrificing the lesser. u can release the formation embedded in the homunculi body and combine it with the greater grail and thus completing the formation of a complete grail. this is an oversimplified summary

he can place Rho Aias and technically any projection onto whatever his eye's can see and that's actually how it was used in VN version of Rider vs Salter fight in heaven's feel. Instead of him tanking Excalibur while holding on the shield The Belerophone and Excalibur were used at the same time, they clashed and ONLY WHEN Shirou saw that Rider was losing the beam clash he casted Rho Aias onto Pegasus that allowed Rider to go through the beam and barely hit Salter with what little strength she had....

u remember that the reason illya has so low mana capacity rn is because it was split between cloe and herself illya having 2/3rds while chloe having 1/3rds this is a small difference but it changes the outcome. and even if the kaleid sticks have infinite mana, the amount taken in intervals are so slow compared to the theoretical output. u saw the limit of it on illia's body in s3 against gilgamesh. its like you have an infinite ocean, but the output u can use has to be a drop of a bucket. its too inefficient. but by tricking her real physical organs to function like a mana circuit. she could have more of an output. she cannot use that power now. and it does not help that Excalibur requires high energy maintenance.

gilgamesh now has his alter ego stripped of his personality to be used. but because his ego is too strong. he has a kid persona and a tyrant persona in 1 card. the ainsworths could not reduce gil into a mindless card to be puppeted. u saw that last episode. when card gil possessed miyu. ego too strong. ainsworths had to literally split gil in half to make him obtainable while other card servants had no ego. and even though he was split. he literally had ego in both persona. so they had no choice but to try and seal kid gil away. but for some reason he still half incarnated.
