this is gonna suck having to wait for more railgun. yeah its good to watch in the proper anime order. but the anticipation and my totally not bias against railgun (and accelerator) vs index is totally not showing hahaha i wish there was more seasons too in general of the series... guess i gotta read the manga or smth. its been ages since a new season in general... and watching ur railgun s reaction was peak. reminded me just how good the show... railgun was.

A Level six in Toaru is somone with a Omniscient/Godlike mind in a mortal body. There is only theory about how powerfull a level six would be but it is estimated as a god power level or at least stronger than any level five or Saints.

In the Toaru verse a level Six would easly enter in the Top 10 of the most powerfull being but I'm not sure where in the classment but probably under the top 3 or 5. Also all the level five incuding Accelerator are below the Top 10, Accelerator being somewhere in the top 20 like eleven or lower.

Accelerator does actually say some sus stuff like that in Railgun haha idk if it was the exact same but very similar. About the reflection timing: This is explored later on so I can't really answer without spoilers Accelerator's power is both passive and active. He can passively reflect harmful substances. I suppose a good analogy would be like breathing. Even though it takes calculations, he doesn't have to actively think about it because he's big brain. But if he needs to change what he reflects (like if he wanted to get hit by one of the clones although why would he) he needs to actively think about it. Similar to breathing for us. You don't think about breathing usually, but you can change your breathing or hold your breath if you need to.

The different ways the alley scene is presented in Index and Railgun is interesting. I think I mentioned in the last episode, but the early Sisters arc is presented as a mystery. Touma knows next to nothing, and the police are presented as confused/incompetent. Just as helpless as Touma is. There's less buildup and what there is is filled with dread. Signs of the fight remain, but there's no body. It's creepy. The Sisters are creepy. The commercial break runs, allowing you to digest. A lot was revealed, but it leaves more questions than answers. Now it is time for Touma to confront Misaka, his only lead, and discern whether she is friend or foe... The same scene is presented in Railgun, but despite the events being the same, it is framed in a very different way. The Sisters arc in Railgun is more of an espionage thriller, you could say. Something like ten action-packed episodes of Misaka fighting the system, discovering again and again that the conspiracy goes even deeper than she ever realized, all before Touma even shows up. Both Accelerator and the clones are known variables at this point, and rather than framing the events in the alley with mystery and dread it's intense - cutting back and forth between characters. It's a heart-pounding and desperate scene. You know exactly what is happening and it's framed in such a way that Misaka is utterly helpless but maybe this new hero on the scene can save the day... Only he is also far too late. The Sister dies, the experiment is cleaned up with not at single sign of the fight remaining, even as a security camera on the wall and surveillance satellites in orbit coldly observe. Rather than clueless, the police are presented as part of the system, doubting Touma from the onset and quickly brushing him aside. Rather than creepy or mysterious, the arrival of the Sisters clean-up crew is just sad. You've seen all this before. You understand that despite everything Misaka has done and suffered through, nothing has actually changed. Now it is time for out two protagonists to finally meet and figure out a way to turn things around...
